After 40 years of ministry God called Lisa and I to plant our first church in the 318 Fellowship starting June 1, 2016. I have to admit that there are times that the learning curve makes it feel like starting completely over, but I wouldn't exchange where we are for any other place. Feel free to stop by my office at the Providence Chik Fil A one morning; I'm not always there but I might be the day you walk in. We can sit and talk about motorcycles, hunting, the marine corps or the fingerprints of God in your life and mine.
We are called on this journey together, and at 318 we worship simple. Jesus is the difference. He is the joy that we share, and He is the reason we are family. Jesus made the difference for me too. I have served the Lord since He first called me within the local church, and in ministry service since 2007 in bi-vocational and full-time opportunities. I am so blessed to be part of 318 Fellowship. No matter who you are, following Jesus is a choice that each individual must make. It can't be made for YOU by anyone else, but YOU. I would love to get to know you better when we worship together, and join hearts as we sing and celebrate our Redeemer. Many voices make the harmony of praise sweet, so come worship with us this Sunday!
Brad is our newest staff member, being called as the Student and Family Pastor. He was serving with the International Mission Board in Sri Lanka as a career missionary when he sensed God calling him back to the local church. His responsibility will be to coordinate ministry that embraces and challenges our teenagers, children and their families. Brad and Krystal have two children, Lily, age 5, and Lynton, age 2.
From the very beginning, Abbie has been right there, leading, praying and laughing (at times crying) with our students. She continues to excel at 318 and not sure what we do no without her. As she closes out her sophomore year at MTSU, she is able now to blaze some new ground for those who are graduating high school. If you are interested in helping with driving, or maybe going to camp this summer, contact her below.
Miss Kay is a God-send. From the very beginning, she has passionately loved our children whether it is in her Craft Shack with her husband Fred in-tow, at KidZ worship with a number of our adults that rotate in and out or at some event venture we've taken the children too. If you would like to know more about what is going on for our 1st through 6th graders you can email her below, and if you have an interest in helping us with Kidz Worship, reach out as well,
