You never have to advertise a fire; everyone comes running when the fire is raging.  Likewise, if the church is on fire, you will not have to broadcast it, the community and the world will soon discover it.  The Lord didn't call us to be different for different's sake.  He called us to be different so that the world would know there is more to life than what the world offers and what they have experienced this far.  We know that we can manufacture nor manipulate the power of God in us so we pray for...

a greater understanding of god's word

In an ever-shifting world, both within and without, the church is constantly bombarded with options.  We strive to be a people who always default to the Word of God for our decisions, to be unashamed of our convictions and to truly seek to love the Lord with all our heart, soul, mind and strength...not just one...working to deepen our faith, broaden our relationships and enhance our community of faith.

a deeper desire to communicate with god intentionally and specifically.

Outside of the Word of God there maybe no greater weapon for the child of God to wield than the power-endowed weapon of Prayer.  To think that each of us can share our deepest thoughts with the Creator of the Universe and speak to Him on behalf of others is unbelievable.  And we desire to build such a depth of relationship through prayer with the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit, that we can stand and give evidence of answered prayer in each of our lives.


Join us each day at 3:18pm to pray for our church and God's plan for its future.  We'll be posting items on our prayer page for you to lift up.

a sacrificial willingness to make more of him and others and less of us

Jesus stepped out of heaven and took the place of a servant in the lives of those around Him as an example to all of us.  Life is not about us; it's really not, and there is no better display of love and authenticity than when we make more of others and less of us.   We live in a culture that expounds just the opposite so when we elevate the lives of others above our own...talk about light and salt!!!  


There are opportunities throughout the year to connect weekly, monthly and seasonally.  Join us this Mother's Day by picking up a bottle and collecting change between then and Father's Day for the Care Pregnancy Center.

a growing boldness to plant the seed of the gospel one relationship at a time.

There can be no true expression of love and compassion in a piece of paper no matter how creative it might be. People need a touch from people not the latest program nor the coolest presentation, only lives truly change lives. And though only the Lord can change an eternity, He has chosen you and I to introduce people to the opportunity by planting one seed at a time.

and a chance to pour into someone else what he has poured into us

God has worked in each of our lives so that we might be proof of His defining work in the lives of others.  I know that sometimes it's just hard to grasp the infiniteness of God but each time He reaches out of heaven and invades our life with His great love He gives us another illustration of who He is, what He can do, and how much He cares.  And if He does, how can we keep that to ourselves?


There are opportunities each Sunday to pour into the lives of our Littles and Kidz during worship.  And join us in worship during May as we discover how best to tell our story to others.
